Nickerson State Park in Brewster has 2 parking lots just off Route 6A. There is a trail entrance near the entry booth. Nickerson has a wonderful woodland sanctuary atmosphere, where campers, hikers and horseback riders can enjoy the scenery and activities.

Campers can also enjoy more of their stay by bringing or renting bikes. This gives them the option of exploring more of the natural beauty of Nickerson Park in the limited time they have.

As with all the other bike trails on Cape Cod and the Islands, care and courtesy goes a long way to making everyone's bike, hike or equine ride most enjoyable. And remember, that horses have the right of way -- for obvious reasons. Whenever a horse and rider approach -- from either direction -- stop and be still until they pass.
